START WITH WHAT YOU KNOW

Is SkillShiftEd a fit for you?

The starting point is specific, teachable expertise. You should be able to explain who you can help, what they will learn, and how your experience supports that work.

Instructors & educators

You already teach a subject and want to develop your lessons, workshops, or classroom experience into a structured continuing-education program.

Industry practitioners

You have hands-on experience in a field and can help adult learners build specific skills they can use in their work.

Authors & course creators

You have a book, an online course, recordings, or other original material that could become lessons, practice activities, and assessments.

Consultants & corporate trainers

You teach a repeatable method or train teams and want to explore a program that can reach learners through college partners.

PROGRAM CONCEPTS

Program concepts to discuss.

These are examples for expert discussion, not enrollment offers. Each concept describes a program an expert could help shape for college-partner review.

YOUR STARTING POINT

Bring what you already teach.

A finished course is one starting point. A book, workshop, collection of notes, or well-developed idea can also begin the conversation.

You do not need to produce new videos before we discuss the program.

  • The topic and the learner you want to help
  • Skills learners should be able to apply
  • Existing lessons, examples, exercises, or recordings

THE WORK WE SHARE

You bring the knowledge. We help build the program.

SkillShiftEd supports learning outcomes, lesson structure, assessments, branding, production coordination, and publishing materials.

You contribute your subject knowledge, source material, and time to review and improve the work.

The goal is a complete program that a college partner can evaluate.

Each institution applies its own requirements and makes its own approval and catalog decisions.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Questions educators ask.

Do I need a finished course or a large audience?

No. You can start with deep subject expertise and a strong idea, or bring a course, book, workshop, notes, or recordings. A large audience or email list is not required. The first conversation explores whether your expertise can become practical learning outcomes.

Does SkillShiftEd accredit my course?

No. SkillShiftEd prepares college-ready programs for institutional review; it does not accredit courses. Working with accredited college partners does not automatically make an individual course accredited or eligible for academic credit.

Will my program be offered by every college in the network?

No. Each college or university makes its own review, approval, catalog, launch, and enrollment decisions. SkillShiftEd supports preparation and distribution through Lovegevity's college-partner network. Approval, placement, and enrollment are not guaranteed.

Where are content rights and partnership terms defined?

Content rights, responsibilities, costs, and revenue terms are set out in the specific partnership agreement. Use the initial call to discuss the model, the work your program needs, and the terms you would review before committing.

What happens on the first call?

The free 25-minute call is a fit conversation. Bring your topic, intended learner, the skills they should gain, and any material you have. We discuss your starting point, explain the partnership, and identify the next step. There is no obligation to proceed.
