Before you begin

Do I need a finished course?

No. Bring a strong idea and deep expertise, or a program you have already started. Our instructional designers work with you to shape the outcomes, lessons, activities, and assessments.

Do I need an audience or an email list?

No. SkillShiftEd supports distribution through Lovegevity's established college-partner network. Your opportunity is not limited to an audience you have built yourself.

What kinds of experts do you work with?

Experienced instructors, industry practitioners, authors, consultants, and corporate trainers with specific, teachable skills.

Is college placement guaranteed?

Yes, if your course meets the standards in our qualification process. Book a call to find out.

What does it cost to get started?

The initial consultation is free. We'll explain the partnership, the work involved, timing, and economics.

Building your program

How is the program developed?

Instructional designers help organize the subject, learning outcomes, lessons, and assessments into a college-ready continuing-education program. The work depends on what you already have and what the program needs.

What does publishing preparation involve?

SkillShiftEd coordinates branding, production, project management, and publishing-ready materials so the finished program is consistent and ready for partner review.

How much of the work will I do?

You provide your expertise and collaborate with the instructional designers. The team supports course design, development, packaging, and distribution. This is a collaborative build, not a hands-off income offer.

College partners and your agreement

Does SkillShiftEd accredit my course?

No. SkillShiftEd prepares college-ready programs for institutional review; it does not accredit courses. Working with accredited college partners does not automatically make an individual course accredited or eligible for academic credit.

Which decisions belong to college partners?

College partners decide whether a program meets their requirements, its approval and catalog placement, launch timing, enrollment availability, and institution-specific policies. Each partner controls its own review and decisions.

Where are content rights and partnership terms defined?

Content rights, responsibilities, costs, and revenue terms are set out in the specific partnership agreement. Use the initial call to discuss the model, the work your program needs, and the terms you would review before committing.
